What data we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

When you order: name, address, email address, optionally phone number, chosen payment method and the items ordered. We also store the IP address used for the order so that misuse can be traced. We need this to fulfil the contract and issue the invoice.

When you visit the site, no visitor data is transmitted to third parties. We use no advertising or analytics services and embed no external fonts or scripts.

Your cart is stored solely in your browser and only transmitted when you submit the order.

Sign-in without a password

For the order overview we use a sign-in link sent by email. We store no password, only a time-limited, single-use key. It expires after 30 minutes.

Disclosure

We pass on your data only as far as necessary for delivery — specifically to Swiss Post for shipping. No data is passed on for advertising purposes.

Retention

Order and invoice data are kept for as long as the statutory retention period requires (ten years in Switzerland). They are deleted afterwards.

Your rights

You may request information about the data we process about you at any time, as well as its correction or deletion. An email to info@seidenkrawatte.ch is sufficient.

Security

The site is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS. We process no card data; payment is exclusively by invoice.
